Episode 6: 7 Ways to Beat Jet Lag

For anyone that has ever traveled across time zones you know the effects of jet lag.  It's one of the things that can hold you back from really enjoying your travel.  If you only have a limited amount of time, jet lag is something you want to avoid if possible.  Today, Melissa is going to share some of the tips and techniques that we use when traveling internationally to minimize the effects of jet lag and get your on track quickly with the local time zone to start enjoying your vacation.  Pack a bag and travel across time zones with us without the annoying effects.

1. Try to get some rest on the plane.  Even if you can't sleep for a long period of time, try to take a couple of naps.

2.  Stay hydrated and if possible try to limit your alcohol consumption since it interferes with sleep.

3. When you arrive, get a light bite to eat and go to the hotel.  This will prevent you from getting HANGRY.

4. What to do if you arrive at your destination in the morning vs the evening and take a Melatonin or Magnesium Supplement

5. Use Precision Nerve Stimulation via the Uplift App (not an affiliate link, we just love it that much and know it works!)

6. Set an alarm & Take a Nap but make sure that you GET UP or your sleep schedule will be wrecked!

7. Get some Fresh Air - choose an outdoor activity if possible
