Don't wear new shoes. Wear broken in comfortable shoes that are okay to get wet. Crocs are a great option for kids and we like these for men and women.
Here's what to pack in your park bag:
- Use a Smallish Backpack for your park bag so you can be hands free if needed or put it under the stroller..
- A change of clothes for all kids
- Wipes and diapers (if needed) but wipes are handy for kids of all ages
- Rain Ponchos
- A rechargeable fan
- Extra phone battery pack and cords
- Snacks (outside food and drinks are allowed in the parks)
- Re-useable water bottles that keep water cold (refill them in the parks or free at water stations or ask or water at quick serve locations or Starbucks)
- Sunscreen (and lip sunscreen)
- bandaids
